Description: It was dark. I was using a headlight (but after this accident, which is my first, I went out and bought a much much brighter one). I was cycling north on Steiner. The car was driving south and made a (if I recall correctly) sudden and unsignaled left onto O’Farrell St. and across my path. I had a couple of big ass bruises and my front fork had to be replaced. The driver gave me and my bicycle a ride home and her insurance paid for the repairs. She was apologetic, but also thought my light should have been brighter. She said she didn’t see me until I was right on top of her.
