Third Bad Car Experience cs. 5 years ago:

Perpetrator:
This was a white couple in a very easy to spot automobile. They drove an early 90’s blue Ford 150 that was lifted up several inches and had large mudder tires. The guy driving had longish brown hair and a pale complexion and was in his mid 30s. He tended to yell without provocation, but who doesn’t when they’re behind the wheel these days.

Incident Location: The Corner of Market and South Van Ness.

Incident Description:
I was once chased by a motorist who actually almost risked the destruction of his precious truck to hit me.

Imagine the typical scenario: bike pulls up on the far right next to the car. Driver of adjacent vehicle neglects to put turn signal on indicating a right turn. When light changes, driver guns it almost killing cyclist.

I’m very sensitive to the drivers around me, and I guess this guy was brain damaged because there was no rhyme or reson to his driving skills (This is why IQ tests should be manditory for driver’s licenses). He could see me right there next to him, and yet almost ran me over. I gave him a good "fuck you", we argued, and I think I said something like, “you can’t catch me in that prick-mobile”. This may have been a bad move because then he tried to prove to me that he could catch me by running me off the road. He came very close to hitting the light post that I scooted behind for cover. I resigned to send this reckless bastard to jail. I’m pretty sure he’s there by now, anyway.
